Truly God is good, and the more intimately we experience him the more we are convinced of his goodness. He is the one who sees us and longs to be part of everything in our life. He wants us to find him in each moment of every day, and to be in his love. Sometimes his blessings can come through pain and sorrow, but at those times we can only know his goodness by trust in him. Trying to understand will fail us, but trust will keep us close to him.
His gift of peace is something that we can not even fathom its depth. He knows its our deepest need, and he knows our anxious thoughts. He wants us to listen to him, tune out other voices and just listen. Listen to the God who calms your fears, and gives you peace through all circumstances. He designed us to dwell in peace all day so draw close to him and receive it.
"Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful." Colossians 3:15
